Announcement of YAMADA Consulting & Spire
YAMADA Consulting Group Co., Ltd (“YCG”) is pleased to announce the establishment of YAMADA Consulting Group Asia Pte Ltd, with its regional headquarters in Singapore. This comes after the successful integration of our overseas subsidiary, Spire Research and Consulting Pte. Ltd. (“Spire”).
With the integration, “YAMADA Consulting & Spire” will become the new brand for YCG in Asia, excluding China, to provide diversified and higher quality consulting services to Japanese companies for their market growth in the region, and also to focus on business development for local companies.
Going forward, we will focus on cross-border Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) opportunities, which are characterized by many strategic and business challenges, and which we aim to support with our expertise and experience, enabling our clients to thrive.
Despite the new brand, the two firms are no strangers to each other, as YCG and Spire have already worked together on a total of 200 projects since YCG acquired Spire in 2016.
Spire was founded in Singapore in 2000 and operates nine full-service offices throughout Asia. The firm has worked with many Fortune 1000 companies, multinational corporations and governments in various countries. In 2020, Spire Middle East and North Africa (MENA) was opened, the latest and last addition to the Spire group.
Spire’s integration with YCG will expand the combined group’s presence to 12 offices in 11 countries, with 160 employees at its overseas locations, enabling the expansion of our business scope and the localization of services in each country.
